South Texas Cotton & Grain Association
Our Mission
South Texas Cotton & Grain Association was established in 1963 with the mission to improve the conditions under which cotton and grain were produced and marketed in South Texas. Our association represents farmers on legislative, regulatory, and research issues. We strive to have a seat at the table so our members have a voice when decisions are made that impact their business. Our goal is to be proactive in driving positive change for South Texas agriculture.
Our Organization
Our association territory is comprised of 33 counties that span from south of Houston, down the Gulf Coast to the ranch country south of Kingsville, and west to the Winter Garden region southwest of San Antonio. Our organization is governed by a board of directors that are members who farm cotton and grain in the region. The association is managed by Jeff Nunley, who has served as executive director since 1998.
